Race Day Wheels, The Original Wheel Rental Company began in 2005. Our goal is to give beginner triathletes and experts the opportunity to ride fast carbon race wheels without having to pay $2000+ for wheels they may only use a few times a year. Now, you can rent ZIPP carbon race wheels from $150 a set for that big triathlon event.
If you love the wheels so much you want to keep them, we can sell them to you at a discounted price. We will also subtract one rental fee from the discounted price for a used set and 2 rental fees for a new set.
Wheel rental includes:
* ZIPP Firecrest® carbon wheel rental.
* Continental Race tires, tubes & valve extenders.
Clincher Tires: GP 4000s and Tubular Tires: Sprinters
* Free cassette swap at event pick up locations.
* Your rental fee off the sale price if you decide to buy.
We will be at the events listed, this will save you on shipping and cassette change over fees from your bike shop.
Shipping:
When wheels are shipped the rental period is between 5 and 7 days! Please ask us if you need them longer.
Wheels are shipped to you via Fed-Ex ground; wheels normally arrive the Tuesday or Wednesday before your event.
We rent for triathlon, time trial and weekend touring events. We do not rent for crit cycling events.
Cancellation Fees:
We charge 50% of the rental if you DO NOT CANCEL the booking 5 days before the event.
